A Technical Specialist Role

Role Overview:

The role of the Technical Specialist plays a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans.

This involves creating automated test scripts for web and API tests, developing and executing extensive test plans, including regression testing.

Documentation of test results in defect reports and related documentation is also a key responsibility.

Maintenance and updates of technical documentation related to testing procedures and outcomes are expected from the candidate.

Assessment and mitigation of potential risks within the software are also crucial skills required for this position.

Lastly, the candidate is expected to provide suggestions for improving the software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated test scripts for web and API tests
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including regression testing
  • Document test results in defect reports and related documentation
  • Maintain and update technical documentation related to testing procedures and outcomes
  • Assess and mitigate potential risks within the software
  • Provide suggestions for improving the software
Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience with Postman, mobile emulators, and JIRA
