Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Animal Care Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours between 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday through Friday. Availability to work mid-week is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising groups of dogs and maintaining overall wellbeing and safety
  • Providing canine enrichment through play and scheduled activities
  • Implementing daily leadership and training activities
  • Frequent cleaning and upkeep of the facility
  • Building rapport with dog owners through daily feedback and transparency
  • Creating and distributing media content for dog owners
  • Daily administration tasks such as answering enquiries and record keeping
Requirements:
  • Available to attend an unpaid work trial shift
  • Confident handling larger dog breeds
  • High level of communication and empathy
  • Able to work long days in a high-pressure environment
  • Passion for learning or developing canine behavior and training skills
  • Comfortable with computer systems and phone applications
