Job Summary:

  • Payroll Processing: Perform general payroll functions to establish and maintain accurate staff records using SAP.

  • Legislative Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with payroll-related legislation, policy, and enterprise agreements.
  • Escalation: Prepare and escalate pay processing tasks requiring senior officer action or delegate approval.
  • System Testing: Assist with User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements and updates.

Requirements:

  • Legislative Interpretation: Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements.
  • Independent & Team Work: Capable of working independently and as part of a team to deliver quality payroll services.
  • Judgement & Problem-Solving: Use good judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Time Management: Effectively prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Well-developed communication and liaison skills.
  • Discretion & Judgement: Personal qualities of tact, discretion, and sound judgement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office is essential.
