Residential Site Manager Position

As a key member of our team, you will oversee the construction of residential projects from site start to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing allocated construction projects ensuring effective coordination of all on-site activities.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring updates are timely and documented.
  • Overseeing high-quality construction delivery in line with contract terms and legislative requirements.
  • Ensuring site readiness, safety, and cleanliness at all stages of construction.
  • Building strong relationships with trades, suppliers, and internal teams providing support and feedback.
  • Monitoring and reporting site incidents, delays, and completing safety audits.
  • Achieving practical completion sign-off by the client within two weeks of practical completion inspection.
  • Participating in trade allocation meetings and ensuring timely completion of sign-offs.
  • Adhering to compliance processes and supporting the onboarding of new contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management is essential for this role.
  • At least 5 years' experience within the Residential Project Home Industry.
  • Strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes efficiently.
  • Considerable knowledge of basic methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to the building of residential homes.
  • The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
