We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at ISS Facility Services Australia Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of student accommodation facilities at a university.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of cleaners to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
- Manage rosters and timesheets to optimize productivity and minimize costs
- Lead a team of up to 10 staff members to achieve high-quality cleaning standards
- Control the cleaning budget and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Conduct regular cleaning inspections and implement quality control measures
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Review stock levels and place orders to maintain adequate supplies
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning operations, preferably in a commercial or hotel setting
- Sound knowledge of floor maintenance and high-level cleaning techniques
- National Police clearance (obtained within 3 months of issue)
- Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presentation and excellent communication skills
