Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Humanity Health Group Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker to join our team at Humanity Health Group. As a key member of our allied health team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to develop their workplace skills and thrive in their chosen career.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide quality therapy and intervention to help individuals become 'job ready.' This will involve supporting clients with personal growth and development, providing mentoring and guidance to encourage independence and competence in employment and training goals, and conducting mini-mental health training sessions for employment services staff.

You will also be responsible for liaising with local health professionals and services as required, building and maintaining strong relationships with key referrers and customers, and identifying and engaging with potential new entrants to our services.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is entrepreneurial, ambitious, and passionate about assisting individuals with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations and psychosocial challenges. To thrive in this role, you will need to have an approved Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work degree, full registration with an approved body, determination and motivation for professional growth, and a passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients.

You will also need to have high levels of verbal and written communication, be customer-centric with a desire to drive strong client relationships, and hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle.

What We Offer

As a member of our team, you will benefit from unrivalled professional support, including clinical supervision, case coaching, and mentorship. You will also have access to monthly professional development days, including PhD, research, and leadership programs, and continuous career growth with an established brand.

We offer a range of benefits, including flexible conditions, a 'Better Life' policy for all staff, numerous rewards and incentives, and health and wellbeing benefits. You will also be part of a high-performing and supportive workplace culture that actively seeks to include, welcome, and value the contributions of all people.
