About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker to join our team at Care Squared Futures, powered by Humanity Health Group.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to develop their workplace skills and thrive in their chosen career.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing quality therapy and intervention to help individuals become 'job ready'
  • Supporting clients with personal growth and development
  • Providing support and mentoring to customers to encourage a level of competence and independence with their employment and training goals
  • Managing your own calendar to meet client expectations and workload
  • Conducting mini-mental health training sessions on site for employment services staff
  • Liaising with local health professionals and services as required
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key referrers and customers
  • Identifying and engaging with potential new entrants to SLES
  • Completing risk assessments and discussing suitability of new participants and service offerings with relevant stakeholders
About You

We are looking for an individual who is entrepreneurial, ambitious, and passionate about assisting individuals with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations and psychosocial challenges.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • An approved Rehabilitation Counselling or Social work degree
  • Full registration with an approved body
  • Determination and motivation for professional growth
  • A passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients
  • High levels of verbal and written communication
  • Customer-centric with a desire to drive strong client relationships
  • A valid Australian Drivers Licence and access to your own vehicle
