Clinical Education Specialist Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Education Specialist to provide expert clinical education, training and evaluation of skills and knowledge to promote and support improved patient care.

About the Role
  • This role involves developing, delivering and evaluating clinical education programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our healthcare professionals.
  • You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to identify and prioritize individual and team learning needs.
Main Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver day-to-day and one-on-one clinical education along with in-services to meet team and individual learning needs, focusing on new/experienced staff.
  • Show evidence of advanced clinical nursing skills with demonstrated expertise in using technology appropriate to the healthcare setting.
  • Contribute to the development of our healthcare workforce through the delivery of clinical education programs.
Requirements
  • A deep understanding of learning and assessment principles gained from both experience and education (such as Cert IV in Training and Assessment).
  • An experienced educator with ability to provide flexible rostering, short commutes, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
