Service Leader Role Overview
We are seeking a Service Leader to lead a team of Support Workers in the support of children and young people engaged and/or living in our services.
About the Role:
- Provide leadership and coaching of services' support staff, ensuring high quality support is provided to the children and young people.
- Lead a team of Support Workers, guiding trauma informed and therapeutic supports to children and young people, and focus on achieving the best possible outcomes.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, i.e., Diploma in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent.
- Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
- Passionate about human rights and creating positive change, empathetic and compassionate with a keen understanding of diverse experiences.
- Enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire, with a willingness and commitment to exercise self-reflection and improve as a leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent communication with well-developed written, verbal and listening skills, using a range of systems and technology.
