
Children's Services Director

As a leader in children’s services, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.
The role involves leading a team of support workers who provide trauma-informed and therapeutic supports to children and young people. The goal is to achieve the best possible outcomes for those in care.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
You will also need to have relevant tertiary qualifications, current or willingness to obtain regulatory requirements, and a passion for human rights and creating positive change.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of support workers to provide high-quality supports to children and young people
- Provide coaching and guidance to support staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver effective services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality service delivery
- Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Current or willingness to obtain regulatory requirements
- Passion for human rights and creating positive change
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders
