Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Busy Bees Preston East. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs for children. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate programs for children
  • Provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Work closely with colleagues to create a positive and supportive team culture
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our services

Requirements

  • Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent)
  • Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

  • Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years
  • Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service
  • Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families, and individual children's needs
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development
