The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to join our team in Mill Park. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home, including personal care and hygiene
- Assisting with medication compliance, including the dispensation of prescription medication
- Supporting the customer to engage in activities outside the home environment, including social and recreational activities
- Providing meal assistance, including meal preparation and planning
Requirements:
- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid certification, and National police clearance
- Comprehensive Car Insurance and a reliable vehicle
- Australian drivers licence (P2 minimum)
