Community Support Worker

SA Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team in the Adelaide Hills region.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and flexible individual to provide personal care and support services to clients in their homes and community settings. As a Community Support Worker, you will work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality care and support to clients with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support services to clients, including showering, bathing, toileting, and grooming
- Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Transport clients to appointments and activities
- Assist with therapy services and day centre activities
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve client-directed goals
Requirements:
- Current driver's licence and access to reliable transport
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and display empathy towards clients and their families
