Instructional Systems Designer Role

We're seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer to provide comprehensive training support for our current and emerging customer training requirements on the Apache Program.

This permanent role is based at the Army Aviation Centre in Oakey, QLD. As a BDA Instructional Systems Designer Level 2, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting analysis of customer training requirements and developing innovative solutions
  • Evaluating documentation to validate training needs and satisfy customer requirements
  • Developing and maintaining the Apache Training curriculum across all substantive roles
  • Conducting training artefact development to support project processes
  • Evaluating and updating training materials in response to feedback and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting all training delivery requirements

Key Requirements include demonstrated experience in training analysis, design, development, and evaluation, understanding of the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) or Defence Training background, minimum 2+ years' experience in Instructional Design, ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, and ability to obtain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
