About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Systematic Trader to join our team at SIG. As a Quantitative Systematic Trader, you will play a key role in developing and implementing electronic trading strategies, leveraging your expertise in quantitative research and trading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and develop new trading ideas, leveraging market data and quantitative research techniques.
  • Design and implement electronic trading strategies, working closely with technologists and traders.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of trading strategies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other researchers, strategists, and traders to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of our proprietary trading systems and tools.
Requirements
  • Honours or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and excellent logical reasoning.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both in the ability to understand others and to make yourself clearly understood.
  • Experience writing code to process and analyze large sets of data, especially in Python.
  • Experience in C++ or other low-level programming languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
