Overview

We're seeking highly skilled Quantitative Systematic Traders to join our team at SIG. As a Quantitative Systematic Trader, you will combine your analytical skills with your knowledge of trading to develop new electronic strategies and monitor real-time performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate new ideas by immersing yourself in market data and leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming.
  • Develop and implement new trading strategies using our proprietary data sets and backtesting environment.
  • Collaborate with technologists to put new strategies into production and actively monitor their real-time performance.
  • Discuss and brainstorm new ideas with other researchers, strategists, and traders to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Honours or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills and excellent logical reasoning.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience writing code to process and analyze large sets of data, especially in Python.
  • Demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
