About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Systematic Trader to join our team at Susquehanna Pacific. As a Quantitative Systematic Trader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new electronic trading strategies, as well as monitoring their real-time performance in the financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate new trading ideas and develop them into executable strategies
  • Collaborate with technologists to implement new strategies and monitor their performance
  • Analyse market data and leverage tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming to identify profitable trading opportunities
  • Work closely with other researchers and strategists to collect feedback and brainstorm new ideas

Requirements

  • PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills and excellent logical reasoning
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience writing code to process and analyse large sets of data
  • Demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities
