Senior Banking Finance Specialist

The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior practitioners on a diverse range of complex matters in Banking & Finance. This includes corporate, structured and asset-based financing transactions, as well as restructuring and special situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead transactions in Banking & Finance for lenders and financiers, including commercial and investment banks, credit funds and other institutional financial services entities.
- Collaborate with partners and senior practitioners across the Transactions group on complex matters.
- Manage matters with autonomy and efficiency, including significant client exposure.
- Mentor junior lawyers, contributing to their development and shaping the practice.
- 4+ years legal practice experience gained within a reputable Banking & Finance practice at a commercial law firm.
- Demonstrated experience with corporate or structured financing (lender side).
- Some experience with, or desire to learn, front-end restructuring highly regarded.
- Strong academic performance.
- Strong project management skills and ability to run matters with autonomy and efficiency.
- Ability and willingness to mentor graduates and junior team members.
