Job Position:

We are seeking an expert to support the Implementation Manager in achieving departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through successful consulting and implementation services provision.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Understand client requirements, conduct gap analysis, document, build, and configure solutions based on these efforts
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop executable plans that account for functional and technical work streams of projects
  • Provide best practice solutions aligned with customer-defined business needs and rules
  • Implement products and associated services within required timeframes
  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout the implementation lifecycle using various mediums
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks, problems, and opportunities; establish priorities and allocate resources efficiently
  • Apply project methodology – planning, follow-up, reporting, and quality assurance
  • Evaluate progress against specified criteria and deliverables, developing corrective actions as needed
  • Effectively communicate at all seniority levels and demonstrate personal integrity and professionalism
  • Maintain subject matter expertise by staying updated on technology and legislative developments relevant to the product
  • Deliver high-level customer service across all stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Nurture good working relationships with colleagues in accordance with organizational values
  • Ensure cooperation and sharing of skills and expertise
  • Record relevant issues and activities in management systems
  • Achieve team and individual KPIs
  • Drive personal development plans proactively
  • Anticipate risk and capture it on the Implementation Risk and Issues register, taking appropriate action and escalating to management when necessary
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews, share learnings, and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and customer service consulting within an implementation/service delivery context
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and successful application in previous roles
  • Understanding of payroll applications, including Time & Attendance, and processing
  • Experience with corporate enterprise reporting systems or similar
  • Ability to identify client risks and provide resolution options
  • Proven experience in data mapping, conversion, and integrity
  • Knowledge of interface technologies and data exchange between payroll and third-party systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as MS Project, Word, and Excel
  • Experience working in matrix organizations is preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines under pressure

Certifications/Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related field or Information Technology
