Job Description

Our Electrical Apprenticeship is designed for motivated and enthusiastic year 11 students interested in pursuing a career in electrical work. The selected candidate will follow a structured industry-specific training plan, learning on the job from experts in their field while completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Work alongside qualified electricians to gain valuable hands-on experience
  • Develop strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on safety and teamwork

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in year 11 at Moranbah State High School
  • A strong interest in electrical work
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
  • Sound results in Maths (Mathematical Methods or Specialist Maths preferred), English, and Physics are highly desirable
  • Certificate II in Electrotechnology would be highly regarded but not essential
  • Be available to attend a face-to-face interview on Wednesday 17th September
