Talenza's Market Risk Business Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst/Subject Matter Expert to join our team and contribute to the success of our Market Risk program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Market Risk team to identify and analyze business requirements for financial models and risk management systems.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of financial markets, market risk, and related systems and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements for financial models based on regulatory obligations.
  • Provide exceptional stakeholder management skills and strong business and data analysis skills with excellent attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Business Analyst experience with a focus on Market Risk.
  • Experience in financial markets technology delivery and knowledge of commodity products and associated risk measures.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, market risk, and related systems and infrastructure.
  • Traded market risk experience and familiarity with APS 116 and required risk metrics.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous line role in Market and/or Credit Risk.
  • Experience in risk reporting environments and using VBA and/or SQL.
  • Understanding of how FRTB will impact Market Risk management.
