The role involves managing a client base consisting of businesses of all shapes and sizes, providing advisory services on cash flow management, tax planning, and other advisory work. The work is constantly evolving as the clients grow and have different needs, questions, queries, and complexities.

To excel in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in Australian public practice.
  • CPA/CA qualification or close to completion.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff.
  • Experience working with a team and portfolio of clients.
  • Desirable: Experience with Xero.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A desire for work-life balance.
  • Knowledge/exposure with taxation structures including Division 7a, CGT, small business concessions, and superannuation.
  • Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
