We are seeking a highly skilled Event Communications Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing brand presence and engaging audiences across various channels.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional event communications, marketing, and content creation for social media platforms. They will be responsible for managing specific event and program deliverables, developing and posting compelling content, and coordinating marketing activities to promote services and events.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute pre, during, and post-event communications, including email marketing and direct mail, to drive event attendance and engagement.
  • Craft high-end copywriting that conveys key messages effectively and aligns with the brand tone of voice.
  • Ensure event communications are sent on time and monitor their performance to improve future strategies.
  • Ideate, create, and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting of relevant material.
  • Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate promotional activities and campaigns for events and overall company branding.
  • Liaise with external vendors, partners, and sponsors to optimise marketing efforts and mutual promotion.
  • Measure the impact of marketing initiatives and provide regular reports and insights to the management team.

Requirements include a keen eye for design, knowledge of basic graphic design tools, and highly articulate communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A creative mind with excellent problem-solving skills is essential for this role.

Please note that experience in the event industry will be considered an asset but not required.
