Electrical Trade Assistant Role

Ongoing work with optional weekend shifts available - Work as part of a well-established and efficient team - Competitive hourly rate plus daily travel allowance.

A leading national client in the Electrical-Solar Industry is currently seeking skilled Electrical Trade Assistants for ongoing Monday to Friday roles with optional weekend work and overtime opportunities. This is a fantastic chance to further develop your expertise in the industry under the guidance of an accomplished and reputable business.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an apprentice
- Connect solar panels and inverters to the building's power supply along with other high-voltage equipment
- Experience with electrical wiring, switches, outlets, and light fixtures installation and repair
- Extensive experience assisting with rough-ins and fit-offs across either commercial or residential projects
- Assemble, install, test and maintain PV-related electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure they are safe and meet electrical codes and regulations
- Operate electrician's hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
- Install electrical systems in new construction projects
- Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team
- Capacity to carry out physical duties responsibly and effectively
- Compliance with site procedures and client management directions
- Right attitude to commit to location of sites (own transport favourable though not required)
