Agricultural Industry Development Specialist

If you have a passion for the agricultural industry and are looking to make a real contribution to increase the profitability of broad acre farmers, this could be an ideal role for you.
The company is seeking a proactive and experienced Territory Manager to drive sales growth in Queensland broadacre regions through leading sales, creating strategic relationships with reseller organisations, machinery dealerships and providing in-paddock support to growers.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing routine strategic sales calls, territory plans and initiatives to deliver on company growth requirements and profit targets. You will also provide hands-on support to growers and dealer partners to ensure the company's products are well understood and effectively utilised.
This role requires 50-60% travel within Queensland broadacre regions. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working from home and on the road, with regular travel across the region to support their role.
Requirements:- Minimum of three plus years experience in an agricultural sales role with experience in the broad acre cropping sector (grains, pulses, etc).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Self-driven individual that thrives on autonomy and responsibility.
- Microsoft Office and CRM Salesforce software skills for effective daily management of customer information and sales processes.
