Job Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the establishment of a new research institute. The Institute for Agriculture, Climate and the Environment will focus on delivering innovative solutions to emerging challenges.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and advocacy for research programs, championing the development of relevant projects.
  • Drive research excellence, innovation and impact across agriculture, climate and environmental domains.
  • Foster strong partnerships with government, industry and international collaborators.
  • Mentor and develop researchers and HDR students.
  • Ensure operational excellence, compliance and financial sustainability.
  • Represent the University in national and international forums.
Requirements
  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant field with internationally recognised research expertise.
  • A strong record of high-impact publications, effective industry partnerships and successful large-scale research funding acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary research environments, strategic thinking and an agile mindset.
