Job Opportunity

The Graduate Program is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or final-year students to gain hands-on experience in a leading regional industry.

This role involves managing daily ration allocation for livestock, ensuring optimal nutrition and health. You will also support the procurement of high-quality livestock and oversee backgrounding processes to prepare animals for market.

Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining animal health and welfare through regular checks and implementing best practices. Maintenance of plant and equipment is also an essential part of this role.

To be successful in this position, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and adapt is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ration Allocation & Commodity Management: Assist in managing the daily ration allocation for livestock, ensuring optimal nutrition and health.
  • Livestock Procurement & Backgrounding: Support the procurement of high-quality livestock and oversee backgrounding processes to prepare animals for market.
  • Animal Health & Husbandry: Contribute to maintaining animal health and welfare through regular checks and implementing best practices.
  • Maintenance of Plant & Equipment: Assist in maintaining and repairing plant and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate or final year student in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, Veterinary Technology, or related degree.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
