Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. As an Automotive Parts Specialist, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our parts warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Parts Identification: Accurately identifying and recommending parts to guests based on their requirements.
  • Warehouse Coordination: Assisting with the day-to-day coordination of our parts warehouse, including receiving and processing orders from suppliers.
  • Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional support to customers at our front counter, handling face-to-face and telephone enquiries efficiently.
  • Order Processing: Placing orders for parts from warehouse and external suppliers as required.
  • Sales Administration: Preparing invoices for the sale of stock and updating sales records accurately.
  • Cash Handling: Receiving and processing monies when applicable, maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a parts environment, preferably in an automotive setting.
  • Mechanical Knowledge: A working knowledge of motor vehicles and automotive equipment.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to manage a multi-task workload and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using inventory management systems.
