Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the build process, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and associated devices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan for and organise materials, tools and other resources required for works
- Operate within agreed standards and principles
- Assist to service, repair, rebuild and maintain equipment
- Assist to Modify truck and chassis as required to fit concrete pumps and boom

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the installation and repair of mechanical equipment is an advantage
- Ability to diagnose and suggest appropriate action for any problems incurred
- English speaking with good literacy and numeracy skills
- Friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work both in a team environment and without supervision
- Hydraulic or Mechanical experience will be looked upon favourably

Benefits:

- Competitive hourly rate: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
- 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift, overtime available
- Overtime pay and penalty rates apply

Work Environment:

- In person, day shift
