Job Description

As a Trades Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the grounds and lawns of our valued clients in Archerfield, Queensland.

This is a short-term casual employment opportunity on an 8-10 week project, Monday to Friday roster. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a high level of physical fitness.

  • Maintain gardens and lawns, ensuring they are well-manicured and looking their best.
  • Perform general ground maintenance tasks, including cleaning up after events and ensuring the site is safe and tidy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Following instructions from the facilities manager and other senior staff members.
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to queries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
