Independent Home Support Worker

Support individuals in Sydney by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. This role is ideal for those who speak fluent Russian and want to make a difference in the lives of Russian speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- General household tasks such as cleaning, ironing and laundry
- Transportation to appointments and shopping
- Meal preparation and social support
- Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified)
A successful candidate will be able to work independently while also being part of a team. A reliable Australian driver's license and access to a motor vehicle are essential for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Essential Requirements Include:
- Kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
- Reliable team player
- Understanding of workplace health and safety
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program)
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check
