Job Summary

This is an experienced Insurance professional role with a new and growing brokerage. The organisation is seeking a driven individual to join its specialist placement team, operating in the commercial risk space.


Key Responsibilities

This role involves supporting the placement of complex commercial risks across property and liability lines. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and market partners to structure bespoke insurance programs.

  • Preparing and negotiating placement submissions
  • Coordinating with brokers and underwriters across multiple markets
  • Managing documentation and compliance requirements
  • Conducting market research to inform placement strategy
  • Attending meetings and contributing to client engagement

Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in insurance broking, underwriting, or placement
  • Familiarity with commercial property or liability products
  • Tier 1 broking qualification (or Tier 2 with pathway to Tier 1)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Professional maturity and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work from the Sydney office several days per week
