About This RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities- Track all interactions with Australian regulators in an organized and auditable manner
- Respond to regulator inquiries in written form or on conference calls
- Execute the implementation of supporting documentation required to meet regulatory requirements
- Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization
- Tertiary qualification in Law and another discipline (e.g. Arts, Commerce, Economics or Science) or Business degree
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office generally
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian laws, regulations and guidelines in relation to banking and financing activities
