Senior Healthcare Operations Manager

This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead the day-to-day operations of a Not-For-Profit Aboriginal Medical Service in Toowoomba. As Senior Healthcare Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to ensure high-quality, culturally safe care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall performance of the Russell Street Clinic, ensuring seamless service delivery and compliance with clinical and operational standards
  • Supervise, support, and develop administrative and clinical staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Manage Medicare and private billing processes efficiently, minimizing errors and delays

This exceptional opportunity is geared towards experienced Practice Managers and Nurses who are passionate about Closing the Gap through smooth and culturally safe operation of a high-demand Aboriginal Medical Service. The ideal candidate will possess both clinical and administrative expertise, with a strong focus on team coordination, service delivery, and compliance.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, and community stakeholders. You will also provide nursing leadership and clinical support as required, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Practice or Clinic Management, with a proven track record of success
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities, with a strong focus on employee development and retention
  • High-level organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
