Associate Professor Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Professor to join our Faculty of Education. The successful candidate will have expertise in educational leadership, school/teacher improvement, or a relevant discipline.

  • The role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning, educational design, and leadership in relevant areas.
  • Enhancing student experiences through student-centered approaches, the use of emerging learning technologies, and flexible delivery modes including face-to-face, blended, and online.
  • Developing and teaching innovative curricula, contributing to both discipline-specific and broader Faculty programs.
  • Supporting Faculty research through high-quality publications, successful grant applications, and leadership in colleagues' research activities.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning that enhances student outcomes.
  • Leading the development of innovative curricula and educational programs.
  • Conducting research and publishing high-quality papers in top-tier peer-reviewed journals.
  • Engaging in scholarly activity and contributing to the University's research profile.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A PhD or Professional Doctorate in Educational Leadership, school/teacher improvement, or a relevant discipline along with an initial teacher education degree.
  • A proven national or international research record in educational leadership, evidenced by publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals, success in securing grants, and timely HDR completions.
  • Demonstrated high-quality teaching outcomes, with evidence of leadership in course design and development.
