About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical, Structures or Avionics. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of aircraft systems and components, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection, testing, repair, modification, and installation of aircraft hydro-mechanical and flight system components, and aircraft engines subassemblies and components.
  • Work under direct and limited supervision to learn and apply quality standards applicable to aviation maintenance processes.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of aviation maintenance industry manuals and specifications.
  • Complete aviation maintenance industry documentation and perform basic hand skills, standard trade practices, and fundamentals in aviation maintenance.
  • Participate in technical and professional training as required to achieve certification as a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical, Structures or Avionics.
About the Apprenticeship Program

This apprenticeship program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical, Structures or Avionics. Upon completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to pursue ongoing employment as a qualified AME and develop your skills further to obtain a Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) with a C130 J type rating.
