Our Fleet and CapabilitiesWe operate across the world with a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Our fleet includes Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, C-130 Hercules, Citation and Kingair Lead Planes, CH47 D Chinooks, Sikorsky UH60, S-61 and S76 and Bell 412 helicopters.
Job SummaryWe are currently recruiting qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to be part of our team. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company aircraft to ensure compliance with publications and regulatory standards and maintain aircraft operational availability.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company aircraft
- Documenting maintenance activities and ensuring that work sheets, logs, tracking updates and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner
- Collaborating with a team of managers, engineers, pilots and emergency service personnel to maximize aircraft readiness and availability
- Assisting in base activities such as task preparations, stores and GSE maintenance tasks required in support of the ongoing operation
- Being responsible for tool control and the general condition, upkeep and housekeeping of any hangar, workshop or related work areas and vehicles
- Nurturing a safe working culture and compliance with SMS and other company documentation
- Current CASA Part 66 Aircraft Engineer license with B1 and or B2 category
- Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card Type rated or experience on any of Chinook CH-47, Bell 412, Sikorsky UH-60, Boeing 737, Cessna Citation and/or Beechcraft King Air airframes
- An understanding of CASA regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to interpret maintenance documents, directives, maintenance data reporting, using technical orders
