We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Theatre Orderly to join our preoperative team at Norwest Private Hospital. As a Theatre Orderly, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre, providing effective patient handling and positioning, and maintaining a safe patient environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre
  • Provide safe effective patient handling and positioning
  • Setting up of theatre
  • Maintaining a safe patient environment including the setup and cleaning of theatres during procedures
  • Providing support to the nursing staff
  • Theatre Orderly experience within the Healthcare Industry – (Desirable)
  • Working with Children check
  • Police Check
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster AM & PM Monday – Friday
  • Works well independently and within a multidisciplinary team
