We are seeking an accomplished Tenders Specialist to spearhead our tenders for electricity and gas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tenders, repricing as market conditions change to maximize conversion rates, and collaborating with the Sales team to expand our market presence and renewable energy initiatives.
About the RoleThe Tenders Specialist will play a critical role in developing and maintaining productive relationships with brokers and sales channel partners, negotiating pricing and product details for customer retail contracts where applicable. Additionally, the successful candidate will research and stay up-to-date with electricity wholesale market movements and news to achieve better customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all activities related to third-party sales via brokers, reactive sales, direct sales, and marketing support, including comprehensive sales processes for corporate partners.
- Negotiate pricing and product details for customer retail contracts with brokers and sales channel partners.
- Research and stay informed about electricity wholesale market movements and news to drive better customer results.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with brokers and sales channel partners aligned with our sales and marketing strategies.
- Drive KPIs and strategic goals through a deep understanding of our products and processes.
- Support the Australia Management team, particularly the Channels and Partnerships Lead, in acquiring new customers.
- Develop and refine broker and sales channel management processes and best practices to deliver exceptional broker and customer experiences.
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant sales experience across the commercial and industrial energy retail industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate and create value.
- A solid understanding of the electricity and gas wholesale markets, as well as renewables and energy service products.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload effectively.
- A self-starting attitude with records of strong sales and relationship building achievements.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), Confluence, Jira, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Drive).
- A genuine interest in renewable energy.
