Senior Leadership Position: HR Strategist

This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on a senior leadership position, driving organisational success through strategic people management.

  • The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and oversight of the HR function, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • They will partner closely with the CEO, Board, and Executive Team to develop and implement effective people strategies that align with the organisation's goals.
  • Key responsibilities include leading, coaching, and supporting HR team members and frontline leaders to build capability and accountability, as well as managing enterprise bargaining agreement (EBA) negotiations and fostering positive union relationships.

Requirements:

  • Diploma, degree, or MBA in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years' HR experience, ideally with leadership exposure; the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industrial relations, EBAs, and union engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong reporting and presentation abilities.
  • A practical, people-centred, and resilient leader with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on delivery.
