Seeking a skilled Supply Chain and Subcontracts Professional to join our dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a permanent full-time position, providing a solid career foundation from day one.
The successful candidate will be part of the Supply Chain Management Capability with a primary role in the subcontracts team under the supervision of a Manager / team lead and other personnel supporting activities such as:
- Developing and executing commercially sound subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal processes and policies.
- Monitoring and tracking subcontractor performance, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and milestones and maintaining accurate records of subcontracts, correspondence, and reports.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and project requirements and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting the invoicing and payment processes related to subcontracts, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Communicating effectively with industry and subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and senior team members, fostering positive relationships and collaboration through clear communication and transparency.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with a strong ability to self-task under supervision and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
RequirementsApplicants must hold a tertiary degree qualification in Business, Commerce or Law (or have an anticipated graduation date before January 2026).
Eligibility includes being an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements.
