Community Mental Health Clinician Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated mental health clinician to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a Community Mental Health Clinician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing therapeutic assessments, interventions, and support to promote recovery and well-being. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, using the strengths model of recovery-oriented practice.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in mental health, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, using the strengths model of recovery-oriented practice
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and well-being
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and progress
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or Social Work, or equivalent
- Current registration as a Psychologist under the Health Professions Registration Act 2005 (Vic)
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in mental health, preferably in a community setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
