Chief Pharmacist Role Overview

Sigma Healthcare Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Pharmacist to lead the development and management of dispensary and health services programs across our pharmacies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the health and dispensary services strategy, managing the Ethical Partnerships program, and overseeing the development and governance framework for health and dispensary services programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the health and dispensary services strategy for the business
  • Ownership of the Ethical Partnerships program and ensuring it reviewed regularly to ensure it remains relevant and adds value
  • Responsible for management and maintenance of all Pharmacy program contracts
  • Accountable for the development and governance framework for health and dispensary services programs
  • Lead the Health Services team (dispensary operations specialists) to meet the operational and strategic needs of the business
  • Manage and maintain the budget for the department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Years of pharmacy industry experience, including retail pharmacy experience
  • Years of people management experience
  • Strategic awareness
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
