Job Description

The Chief Pharmacist plays a unique role in supporting healthy communities and is responsible for leading the development and managing the success of dispensary and health services programs across Sigma pharmacies. This includes:

  • Leading and driving the health and dispensary services strategy for the business.
  • Ownership of the Ethical Partnerships program and ensuring it is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains relevant and adds value.
  • Responsible for management and maintenance of all Pharmacy program contracts.
  • Accountable for the development and governance framework for health and dispensary services programs.
  • Lead the Health Services team (dispensary operations specialists) to meet the operational and strategic needs of the business.
  • Manage and maintain the budget for the department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
  • 10+ years pharmacy industry experience including retail pharmacy experience.
  • 5+ years people management experience.
  • Strategic awareness.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
