Job Overview

This role could be based out of any of our offices in Australia.

We protect thousands of members across the globe, as well as our clients.

The team works closely with business stakeholders to understand their business model and technology roadmap, acting as the primary interface between the business and security organisation.

Management of relationships with the business is key to delivering on our global cybersecurity strategy.

The team provides engagement and builds stakeholder relationships to enable the security organisation to deliver maximum value.

This role works with business teams to help identify and manage cyber security risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with local stakeholder groups to drive our global cybersecurity strategy.
  • Assisting internal business teams with navigating various security assessment processes and the wider security organisation, providing guidance and support.
  • Assisting with identification and management of information security risk areas e.g.: vulnerabilities, control deficiencies, etc.
  • Management and delivery of planned projects and risk reduction initiatives from gathering business requirements to working with technical teams, testing and rolling out changes.

In addition to the above, this role contributes to Global workstreams to uplift the security posture for the Network as a whole, by working with other teams.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar cybersecurity role working with the business (1 to 3 years).
  • The ability to easily communicate and explain cybersecurity principles to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Taking data and translating into a relatable, digestible, creative form to use with business teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Enjoy helping people with problem solving, customer service outlook - working with business teams to achieve positive outcome.
  • Ability to manage workload - prioritise and recognise when to escalate to management.
  • An interest in the business operating environment as it pertains to the firm's threat landscape.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience working in a distributed team is advantageous.
