About the role

MSS Security is looking for a passionate and experienced Security Training Manager to lead and elevate our training programs across one of our high profile client organization. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the safety, capability, and professionalism of our security teams.

As the Security Training Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all training programs related to security operations, compliance, and emergency response. You will ensure that all personnel are trained to the highest standards and are prepared to meet regulatory, operational, and client-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive training programs for security officers, supervisors, and managers
  • Conduct needs assessments and tailor training content accordingly
  • Lead classroom and field-based training sessions, including onboarding, refresher courses, and scenario-based exercises
  • Ensure all training meets current legislation, industry best practices, and accreditation standards
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training through assessments, audits, and performance reviews
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with operations and HR to support employee development and performance improvement
  • Stay current with trends, threats, and innovations in the security industry

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in security training or security management
  • Certified trainer or instructional designer credentials preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of security operations, emergency response, and risk mitigation
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple training programs and prioritize effectively
  • Experience working with LMS platforms and digital training tools is a plus
