About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Educator to join our team at Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Seventeen Mile Rocks. As a Senior Educator, you will play a key role in shaping the educational programs and experiences for our children, working closely with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to ensure high-quality care and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of all children, including those with diverse abilities and learning styles.
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team to observe, inform, and continuously improve our educational programs.
  • Ensure all learning experiences are inclusive, responsive, and meet the needs of all children.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Work closely with the Educational Leader to ensure that our educational programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
About Goodstart Seventeen Mile Rocks

Our centre is a modern, purpose-built facility with five large rooms, caring for children from six weeks to five years. We have a warm, friendly, and professional team of educators who strive to provide the highest quality care and learning experiences for our children. Our centre is located in a quiet setting, close to leafy bushland, and is easily accessible by car or public transport.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current Queensland Working with Children's Check.
