Site Equipment Manager

As a vital member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing lines. Collaborating closely with the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing contractors and assisting with equipment upgrades to maintain optimal performance.
- Review and monitor compliance with work systems and maintenance procedures.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on properties, including hands-on work and delegating tasks to contractors.
- Minimise machine downtime and repetitive equipment failure.
- Ensure all equipment are available for production.
- Update and maintain the preventative maintenance program.
- Responsible for onsite contractors and contractor's compliance database.
- Manage resources, equipment, and spare parts inventory in conjunction with the Production Supervisor.
- Adhere to company EHS processes and participate in continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Hands on approach.
- Industrial equipment maintenance experience (toolmaker, fitter, basic engineering).
- A good knowledge in planning and scheduling maintenance work.
- Maintain good relationships with team members and contractors.
- Knowledge in pneumatic equipment and pumps is an advantage.
