About the Role

Roy Hill is embarking on an exciting program to enhance business productivity, and we are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Productivity, you will provide expert strategic guidance to support the development and implementation of effective business plans and drive the achievement of company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, assess, and interpret financial, HR, safety, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data analysis needs and requirements, and translate these into analytical models and reports.
  • Apply analytical skills to support productivity and project-related initiatives, providing insights that guide decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Evaluate both financial and non-financial data to support comprehensive business performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience within a role focused on data analysis, financial modelling, and business intelligence.
  • Proficient in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven experience in data collection and analysis, and the ability to prepare, and present analytical reports and findings to influence and support business decisions and strategies.
  • Experience in project management or productivity improvement in the mining or related industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Collaborative mindset, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse groups, and present complex data in an actionable manner.
  • Degree in business administration, commerce, finance, or a related field.
