Positive Behaviour Support Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team of Psychologists & Counsellors in delivering exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and introducing replacement behaviours.
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans that focus on enhancing a person's quality of life.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, or Nursing.
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or the ability to become registered within six months.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses.
  • A car and valid driver's license.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or the willingness to obtain one before commencement.
